Focus on French Cinema

The film festival Focus on French Cinema 2009, organized by the Alliance Francaise of Greenwich, Purchase College, NY and French Feeling Films will celebrate the its 5th anniversary the weekend of April 3-5, 2009 at the prestigious Performing Arts Center at Purchase College, ( just 30 minutes from Manhattan).

Sophie Marceau, star of the film “Lol,” ( Laughing Out Loud), to be screened the evening of April 3, will be present and honored by the festival. A selection of 10 other Francophone films will be highlighted.

The festival includes a Gala Buffet dinner on opening night with Les Maitres Cuisiniers de France as well as a “Meet the Directors and Actors Breakfast” on Saturday morning.
