Seignosse Villa – South West France
Seignosse Villa is nestled in the Landes forest and situated 600 metres from the well known beach, Le Penon and Seignosse Ocean Village. The village itself is host to a wonderful variety of shops and restaurants. It is the perfect destination for a great vacation.
The Villa can sleep up to 17 people in 6 bedrooms, a mezzanine and loft. The area of Seignosse Ocean, Capbreton, and Hossegor are well known as the surfing mecca of France and Europe
Attractions include a beautiful private forest setting, a short walk to the beach, restaurants, pubs, a night club, markets, a hugewater park, skate park, and kiddie playground There are also a number of excellent golf courses in the area. Cool off in the private, heated (when necessary) fenced-off pool which has a yoga studio. This can double up and be used for executive “pow wows”. There is also a sauna should you wish to detox whilst you are on your holiday.
The Bedrooms
The French-styled villa is tastefully decorated, modern and comfortable. There are 6 bedrooms to choose from, some with their own private terrace, and 3 have en-suite shower rooms.
There are 4 large bedrooms with king-size beds, 2 bedrooms with two single beds each and a mezzanine plus a loft room which can sleep 3 extra people in single beds. We also supply a cot and travel cot should you require either or both.
Luxury amenities
You don’t need to worry about waiting in line for the bathroom as there is a shower and separate WC on the second floor. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a large dining room and table to gather around or you can relax in front of the fireplace in the lounge on cooler days. The verandah also has a large table to seat 14 to 16 people which has a lovely view over the pool and the forest.
The villa overlooks a sparkling pool and manicured lawn which drops away into the peaceful pine forest. The studio beside the pool also offers a peaceful environment for you to wind down and relax out of the sun.
The garden has a great chill area under a gazebo should you wish to escape the sun and read a book. There are also barbecue facilities for alfresco cooking and eating.
Activities
Seignosse Villa is situated about 600m from le Penon Beach in Seignosse, adjacent to Hossegor. Arguably the best beach break waves in Europe are found along this 100km stretch of coast. Surfers flock to these beaches every year, recognising this area of Hossegor as a surfing mecca.
Surfboards,wetsuits and lessons can be arranged as well as bicycles from a local bike hire company.. The area has a wide variety of fantastic cycle routes through the local forests and along the coast. Please give us good notice should you wish to take advantage of this. However we do have beginner surfboards available onsite for you to use, should you wish to try your hand at surfing.
Surfboards and wetsuits are available for hire.
The villa is well equipped and is ideal self-catering holiday for those wanting to explore Seignosse, the adjacent and world famous Hossegor or even Bordeaux, Biarritz and the Spanish Coast around San Sebastian.
This the perfect destination for anyone wanting to sample the incredible French touristic areas of Hossegor and Seignosse.
