Organic wine-making in France is booming, and there is nowhere better to discover this than the Terrasses du Larzac at the heart of Hérault in the south of France. But this stunningly beautiful area offers plenty more for the visitor, especially if you love walking as well as wine-tasting.
Made up of several sections and approximately 28 miles long by 12 miles wide in size, the Terrasses du Larzac lies between the Cévennes mountains to the north and Mediterranean to the south.
