Les Grands Pins campsite also provides surfing lessons with the on-site Surf school. Just 350m from the ocean, surf instructors will take you from the campsite to the beach and teach you how to tame the Atlantic waves. From beginners to advanced surfing courses, you’ll have plenty to show off to your friends when you get back from your vacation.

Nearby attractions

Gourmets will also be delighted during their stay. There are two on-site restaurants and a wide choice of restaurants close to the campsite. The center of Lacanau-Océan is only a 15-minute walk from the campsite, there are nice restaurants, ice-cream shops, bars, souvenir stores…

In the evening, the village of Lacanau-Océan comes alive with events all summer long.

Cycling lovers will explore the forest around the campsite on more than 100 kilometers easy cycle paths.

Close to Lacanau, visitors can discover the region’s diverse landscapes, heritage and gastronomy. The wonderful town of Bordeaux and its “Cité du Vin”, and of course one of the world-renowned vineyards in the surroundings. Such as Bassin d’Arcachon, Cap Ferret,  and the highest dune of Europe are around 1 hour away from the campsite.
