Ariel Rivka Dance at the FUSA Festival

One week after FUSA – Festival de Danse France-USA, join and meet the company Ariel Rivka Dance, founded by Ariel Grossman in New Jersey, United States. Alongside Althea Dance Company, Ariel Rivka Dance will present two pieces as a continuation of the FUSA festival.

Ariel Rivka Dance (ARD) is a contemporary dance company founded by Ariel Grossman in New Jersey/New York. ARD’s mission is to promote creative women through original choreography, commissioned music and educational programs. ARD values collaboration and strives to create emotional movement with technique and structure, and features newly commissioned music from living composers in their shows. ARD has performed at various venues in the United States such as BAM Fisher, NY, New York Live Arts and New Jersey Performing Arts Center, as well as internationally at the Istanbul Fringe Festival in Turkey. Althea Dance Companyis a young contemporary dance company based between New York and Paris, directed by Thea Bautista. Althea Dance’s work is characterized by its fluid and ample movement which nevertheless remains extremely physical and which uses both floor work and the lines and extensions of the dancers. Althea Dance Company emphasizes international collaboration with artists from different fields such as writers, musicians, painters and visual artists. The company explores new ways to share dance with the public and how to reach people who are not used to contemporary dance. So far, Althea Dance Company has presented its work internationally, mainly in the United States, in Mexico and France and wishes to continue to share his multicultural artistic vision in the world.
