Rouen has a long circus tradition and for the ninth edition of the Temps des Collections, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen offers ‘Circus and Acrobats’, including one of the most important private collections on the theme, as well as prestigious loans from major institutions. Paintings, drawings, posters, art objects, costumes, toys, sculptures and photographs trace the history of the circus and its intimate links with the art world and artists.
