Château du Petit Thouars
Our family château will celebrate 600 years this year, in 2023! It has been in our family since 1636, passed in a direct line. The château remains private and is a historical monument. There have always been vines on the property since the 1400s and we continue to maintain the viticultural tradition with 15 ha in the AOC Chinon. We offer lovely tours of the vines, and troglodyte cellar as well as options like a picnic in the vines or a tasting in the dining room of the château. Guests are given are friendly and personal welcome. We love to welcome people to our home and share this magical place! We also have a 4-bedroom farm property, in the vines, which is available to rent. On July 15th we will welcome one night of the festival Musique et Vignes en Confluence at the château.
