Set in the beautiful Charente Maritime countryside Le Manoir du Mûrier is a former 16th century hunting lodge once owned by the Marquis des Adjots. Kick back, relax and unwind in this peaceful oasis, nestled in 15 acres with its own lake, in the heart of the wine region.

Situated amongst the vineyards in the Haute Saintonge region, the property is set in its own very private gardens and woodland of 7.5 hectares (15 acres), with a beautiful lake, and gorgeous south-facing enclosed courtyard and large saltwater swimming pool.

Mûrier Cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished, has 3 bedrooms to accommodate 6 guests comfortably, and has its own private entrance through the walled courtyard. Within the grounds, there is a large saltwater swimming pool, with its terrace and sun loungers.

This peaceful haven has an adorable one-bedroom, self-contained gite called ‘Petit Mûrier’ the petit gite has a separate double bedroom, (room for a Z bed for a child can be added), with an ensuite shower room, small kitchen/diner and a lounge area. There are French doors leading onto a small, covered terrace with a table and chairs for your own private dining, overlooking the garden. Under the trees of the Mûrier (Mulberry trees), there is a large table and chairs in the delightful walled courtyard for dining al fresco. Petit Mûrier has access to the large saltwater swimming pool, with its terrace and sun loungers.
