With so many hikes to choose from and such beautiful scenery, the Pyrenees National Park (Parc national des Pyrénées) is a nature lover’s paradise.
But there are two randonnées (hikes) I would recommend in a heartbeat: the Circuit des Lacs/Vallée du Marcadau, and the Refuge des Oulettes/Vallée de Gaube. The latter offers spectacular views of Le Vignemale, the highest peak (3298m) in the French Pyrenees.
