Une Journée Avec…A boutique winemaker in the heart of Roussillon
Tucked between the Pyrenees Mountains, the Mediterranean Sea and the border with Spain, the Côtes du Roussillon appellation (AOC) is known for its red, white and rosé wines made from sun-loving grapes such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Muscat.
The region is home to over 2,000 boutique wineries, including Domaine Treloar, a nine-hectare vineyard and winery owned and operated by Englishman Jonathan Hesford and his wife, Rachel Treloar, who is originally from New Zealand.
