Veronese’s Christmas Chandelier

Each December, French custom crystal and Murano glass lighting manufacturer Veronese presents a celebratory Christmas chandelier. For 2012, they plunged into their archives for a regal recuperation of fragile flowers and foliage in handblown, iridescent and opaline glass decorated with gold leaf.

The resulting concoction is a fantasy of luminous whipped meringue, each petal and leaf unique. And with Christmas spirit, 20% of the €19,900 price goes to the Restos du Coeur, the benevolent food organization founded by the late French comedian Coluche.
