n15 Concept Store

Evidence of fashion’s eternal return, the just-opened n15 concept store seamlessly mixes outstanding vintage couture with the latest in prêt-à-porter and accessories, all in a sleek modern interior. Owner Natalia Tooke says she has waited “all her life” to bring her vision to just such a store, and she has meticulously overseen every detail in the stunning two-story boutique, from the fabulous decor to the gorgeous items on display—many one-of-a-kind.

Adorned with photos of 1970s style icons who defined a new kind of liberated beauty—Bardot, Fonda, Birkin—along with some wonderfully coy Playboy covers, the shop is a reminder of a time when sex appeal and elegance went hand in hand. Tooke has elevated that concept to an art form here: pristine vintage pieces from Yves St. Laurent, Gucci, Chanel, Dior and Madame Grès blend with new separates from Paris-based designers such as Martin Grant and Lucien Pellat-Finet. Beginning in September, labels exclusive to the boutique will be on display, including L’Wren Scott’s luxe evening dresses, Elizabeth & James, Halston Heritage and Issa. Accessories include shoes by Rupert Sanderson and Terry de Havilland, superb crocodile bags by Valextra and rare vintage jewelry from Susan Caplan, along with contemporary looks by Aaron Jah Stone and others.
