Designer Christian Louboutin has unveiled his 20th anniversary Capsule Collection of 20 shoes and six bags reprising the highlights of his stellar career. Having shod the world’s most glamorous feet, Louboutin has come up with a vertiginous commemorative collection that spares none of his favorite bells and whistles: sequins, feathers, rhinestones, satin and lace. Highlights include the super-sexy Alta-Dentelle, a knee-high peep-toe boot in black lace with hot pink leather details; the bright red La Pluminette sandal with feathers at the toe and ankle; and Bow, Bow, Bow in transparent plastic with bows cascading down the instep.

The famously provocative designer will also return to his first love and most important influence, the Paris music hall. This spring Louboutin becomes the first-ever guest director at the legendary cabaret Le Crazy Horse. His four tableaux will celebrate “femininity in all its forms” and, of course, beautiful shoes. Louboutin’s scenes will run through May 31, 2012.
