An NBA Champion Ventures Into the Wine World

Tony Parker (wine lover and French-American NBA champion) has teamed up with Michel Reybier (French entrepreneur, founder and owner of Domaines Reybier) on a journey into the wine world.

After looking to break into the wine industry, Tony Parker has chosen to partner with Michel Reybier, a visionary whose portfolio includes wineries such as Cos d’Estournel, Domaine Impérial Tokaj-Hétszölö, Champagne Michel Reybier, and more.

Reybier, whose experience spans more than 40 years in the hospitality industry, is the perfect partner for Tony Parker. As both shares similar values of leadership, and have excelled in each respective disciplines (basketball and hospitality), each will bring something fruitful to the table.

In order to gain insights into winemaking, from pruning to harvesting, blending and bottling, Parker will be working with Reybier’s team of expert winemakers. To start, he will be involved in Reybier’s brands in Champagne, along with Château La Mascaronne which is located in Le Luc in Provence.

With the aim to grow international sales, especially in the U.S. market, Parker is keen to use his global network to help Reybier’s wine gain the appreciation that it deserves. We look forward to seeing how this partnership will evolve, and witnessing the increase of wine connoisseurs coming from Parker’s fanbase.
