La Réserve Paris to Open New Hotel in 2014

When strolling Avenue d’Eylau near the Trocadéro, passers-by barely notice the unmarked door at number 3. But behind the typical Parisian façade, a private world awaits. Comprised of 10 luxury apartments, La Réserve Paris is the go-to Parisian address for in-the-know jetsetters. These residential apartments offer chic interiors by Rémi Tessier, hotel-style services (like a 24-hour concierge), and a genuine luxury of space. (Our personal favourite is the largest of the bunch; Number 1 is often reserved for press junkets and film premieres.)

Big news for 2014: Michel Reybier’s La Réserve Hospitality Collection will be adding a Paris hotel to its portfolio. Housed in a classic hôtel particulier at 42 Avenue Gabriel in the 8th arrondissement (a stone’s throw from the Palais de l’Elysée), the hotel will have 40 rooms boldly fashioned by star designer Jacques Garcia. Amenities will include a private library, pool, and an intimate spa.

Given the sublime quality of the other La Réserve properties in Geneva and Ramatuelle (near Saint Tropez), we have high hopes for this hotel. To quote the official website, “Michel Reybier is orchestrating a vision of luxury in which excellence, simplicity and discretion replace ostentation. Here is a collection of uncommon, private and sublime places where impeccable taste and flawless service set the stage for a new approach to creating a privileged lifestyle.”
