I Castellucci, Mazzola

In the hamlet of Mazzola, made up of a few houses perched on a promontory at 1000 m above sea level, the I Castellucci gîte is a stone house made up of three old mulchers renovated with respect for local traditions and architecture with stone, lime, chestnut and slate. A Turghja, Cardo Torgia  

Located in the centre of an abandoned hamlet, this 16th century Genoese tower, sentinel of a forgotten past, has been restored by its owner with great care. It’s a journey back in time, yet with all the modern comforts. Located in the heart of Taravo, the village of Cardo Torgia is at the crossroads of Grand Ajaccio and Grand Valinco. One is resolutely focused on imperial history and offers swimming opportunities, the other is more wild and natural and is open to the mountains and the prehistoric history of Corsica. Very different faces for the same territory rich in discoveries that you can remember over an apéritif or a meal by the heated swimming pool.

Casetta Salario, Ajaccio  

This charming house has it all: careful decoration, comfortable and complete furnishings, a garden and a private terrace. It also has a view of the mountains and the maritime city of Ajaccio without any vis-à-vis. In 5 minutes, you will enjoy all the attractions of Ajaccio: boutiques, shops, market, bars and restaurants, heritage and walks in the old town. Ajaccio is bordered by the sea, so several beaches await you along the city, up to the Sanguinaires Islands. Kiki du Maquis, Porto-Vecchio  

This other Pagliaghju, in a quiet location a few kilometers from Porto-Vecchio, offers accommodation combining comfort and authenticity. The village is an excellent starting point for visiting the cape from Bastia just 23 km away to Saint-Florent on the West Coast, Centuri or Nonza, the Macinaggio navy as well as the many Genoese towers which run along the “Le Sentier des Douaniers” hiking route. The treasures of this still wild and preserved region will not fail to surprise you: towers and bridges, small villages perched on the mountainside, coves, chapels and churches in Romanesque or Baroque styles…

The calanche mill, Piana  

In an exceptional and unique site in the heart of the Calanche de Piana, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this former wheat and chestnut flour mill has been restored into a gîte for two people. Its large, shaded terrace offers a panoramic view of the creeks and red cliffs for which Piana is famous. Below the mill, walk along the river and contemplate the waterfall (you can also swim there). Just 2.5km from the centre of Piana and its shops, the village is classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, with its narrow and winding streets, its pretty little traditional houses as well as around the town hall square, the very beautiful St. Mary’s Church, built in an Italian Baroque style.
