Bastille Day in France

The festivities all over the country to celebrate France’s national day start the night before, with firemen’s balls, outdoor concerts and fireworks all over the country. The 14th starts with the official military parade on the Champs-Elysées in Paris and a dramatic Air Force flyover, and ends with more street parties and fireworks after dark—in Paris, they’ll be over the Trocadéro.
