Fall/Winter Haute Couture

Fall/Winter Haute Couture

Top looks for fall and winter this year can be punched in with ten key trends: Black is back, in a big way. Short, including cool winter short shorts. Glitter—not bling—with sequins, metallic fabrics and nailhead studs. Shoulders, big, sharp, padded, rounded or square, but definitely there. Leather—from bike to boardroom: pants, skirts, blousons and coats. Lace, everywhere from head to fingers and toes. Leopard-prints, patterns and faux fur. Nostalgic 1940s glamour, like movie stars of yore. Really hot Red-lipstick, fire engine, crimson, blazing red. And finally, Fancy Footwear—perilous heels, platform soles, and thigh-high cuissardes.
