Uniqlo in Paris

Uniqlo, Japan’s cult label renowned for producing affordable cashmere sweaters in every color of the rainbow, has finally opened its first Paris boutique near the Opéra Garnier. Ratcheting things up a notch in the style stakes, the brand has recruited minimalist German fashion designer Jil Sander to add her signature cutting, draping and tailoring to a capsule collection for both men and women dubbed +J. Think military-style coats, soft cashmere knits and precision-cut white shirts at utopian prices.
