Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s Home Premieres Worldwide

Home, the new epic environmental film event from photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, premieres worldwide today, both online and at outdoor locations across the globe. In Paris, there is a free open screening at 10 pm at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, and the Home website provides a map of screenings in places as diverse as Tahiti, Togo and Russia.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has her own ideas, and rain has canceled the New York screening of the film, which was to take place at Central Park’s Chestnut Hill this evening. New Yorkers will have to wait until Sunday June 7th to see the movie, unless they choose to go online, and watch the film on the privacy of their laptop. Either way, Bertrand’s film promises to make the Earth feel like quite a small world this weekend.
