Competition: Win a two night stay with a three course Michelin meal in Provence

We are delighted to offer a two-night stay for two people in a suite in the stunning 4-star Clair de la Plume in the heart of Provence.

Your stay will include a champagne breakfast, a three-course meal at Bistro Chapouton, which bears the Michelin Bib Gourmand, and a two-course meal at the Café des Vignerons. The voucher is valid for one year, excluding French school holidays, public holidays and special evenings.

Clair de la Plume is in the perched medieval village of Grignan, halfway between Lyon and Marseille, and just 2h 50m by TGV from Paris. Topped by a majestic castle, this Plus Beau Village in the southern Drôme looks out over the purple swathes of Provence’s famous lavender fields. The Rhône Valley, Ardèche gorge, Les Baronnies and the foot of the Alps are all within an hour’s drive. You also have four UNESCO-listed sites within an easy day’s trip: Orange, with its ancient Roman theatre and triumphal arch; Avignon with its world-famous Popes’ Palace; the Chauvet cave with its paintings dating back to 32,000 BC; and Roman aqueduct the Pont du Gard.

With tastings and tours involving lavender, truffles (from December to March), olives and wine all on offer to complete your Provençal experience, all that’s left is to unwind in luxury at Clair de la Plume, which has six locations around the village, including a Michelin- starred restaurant. Clair de la Plume is open all year.

We spend most of our time in the Languedoc but are looking forward exploring Provence. Particularly Avignon and Aix.
