Edvard Munch: The Anti-Scream

Subtitled “The Anti-Scream,” a retrospective of some 100 paintings and graphic works by Munch, mostly from private collections, opens on Friday, February 19th, at the Pinacothèque de Paris. The exhibit documents the major influence of the Norwegian artist (1863-1944) on modern European art, extending far beyond that single icon, The Scream.
