ARRESTING IMAGES

Founded by the city of Paris in 1980, the biennial month-long November Mois de la Photo has mushroomed into a major date on the international arts calendar. This year more than 100 exhibits are officially scheduled in the city’s museums, galleries and other venues, coordinated by the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, and scores of “off” shows will be scattered around town. The theme this year: European Photography, Betweeen Tradition and Mutation. website
