She flows…
From humble beginnings
Past checkered fields and tree line banks
Through industrial suburbs
And is infused by another
She flows…..
And as She enters the city
Her mood changes
She is full of romance
And eventually all roads lead to her
She flows…..
And as She is separated by two
And bouquinistes line her banks
She continues on
With the blessing of Our Lady
She flows…..
Under beautiful bridges
And places filled with art
Past the tomb of an emperor
And boats invigorated with the living
She flows…..
And as She makes a wide turn
Even the Iron Lady is in awe of her
Under the Bir Hakeim
And past the gaze of Lady Liberty
She flows…..
And as She leaves the city
Her surface reflects
All the wonders she will never see again
As She continues on to the sea…
