What would the magic of Christmas be without a Christmas tree! This has been the tradition of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann since 1976. Every winter, the Dome majestically welcomes its Christmas tree, which lights up every 30 minutes with a sound and light animation.

This year, come and discover the Christmas of my Dreams, by Charles de Vilmorin which depicts the epic of the characters imagined by the fashion designer, through the story of the little girl and her magic paintbrush. For the Grand Fir Tree, Charles de Vilmorin was inspired by a memory of a Christmas with his grandparents.

On the rooftop terrace, enjoy a 360°C view of the rooftops of Paris as well as the neighbourhood’s Christmas lights. And of course, watch the Eiffel Tower’s magical show every night.

4. Christmas windows

Created with the greatest know-how by the Galeries Lafayette teams and the Bournillat workshop, the windows of Boulevard Haussmann showcase the epic of the characters imagined by Charles de Vilmorin, through the story of the little girl and her magic brush. The objective of this collaboration is to showcase the beauty of two worlds meeting; fashion and the know-how of historic artisans. 

5. The Glasswalk

Take to the skies at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann! Accessible from the 3rd floor of the Coupole Store, the Glasswalk is a 9-meter-long glass walkway suspended in the void at a height of 16 meters. Its prime location will immerse you in the heart of the majestic Dome of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. From November 16 to December 31, 2023, prepare to experience a unique moment by admiring from a new angle more than 120 years of history, elegance and French art of living. 

6. The Christmas boutique

On the 6th floor of the Coupole store, the gift shop awaits you with a multitude of offers. With its cave-like appearance, there will be something for all tastes and for the whole family. For the youngest, a selection of toys, stuffed animals and puzzles. Older children will also find what they are looking for with collectible, designer, high-tech and even vintage items. At home, the tree also has the right to dress up for the holidays. Garland, balls, stars await you in the Christmas decoration area.
