Galeries Lafayette at Christmas

This Christmas, get into the festive spirit thanks to the incredible Christmas decorations and exhibition at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. New this year is the Planète Sapin (Planet Christmas Tree) immersive experience, following Nordmann, a Christmas tree from the planet Elato, who journeys to Earth and makes friends with Annie, a little girl.

Since 1976, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann has displayed a magnificent Christmas tree each winter. Today, every 30 minutes, visitors are mesmerised by the sound and light show.

Eleven displays show scenes from Nordmann’s trip to Earth including a ‘spruce-up’ and visiting the Noël Club. Written by French author Claire Castillon and illustrated by Florent Chavouet, the story is also available to buy as a limited edition at Galeries Lafayette stores. This experience is available until 23 December in the Opéra Salon at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. Visitors are required to sign up in advance via the Galeries Lafayette website.
