Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles to Host Renowned Chef Jean-François Piège

A unique culinary event designed for Francophiles and foodies will take place when Chef Wolfgang Puck welcomes visiting top toque and Michelin two-star French chef Jean-François Piège to his signature restaurant Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air on Tuesday, May 8.

Jean-François Piège is a name well known to gastronomes in Paris. Born in Valence in the Drôme department in 1970, chef Piège earned his first three Michelin stars as Executive Chef of Alain Ducasse’s Plaza Athenée in 2001. In 2005 he earned two more as the Executive Chef at the Hotel de Crillon, in charge of the gastronomic restaurant “Les Ambassadors”, featuring an innovative menu. Known for his exquisite, creative dishes, in 2011 he earned another two Michelin stars for his namesake restaurant, Jean-François Piège.

Chef Piège will join Chef Puck and renowned Chef Walter Manzke of Los Angeles restaurant Republique to mark the return of the popular Visiting Chefs Series at Hotel Bel-Air. This special culinary experience will feature all three Chefs in collaboration with Chef Hugo Bolanos, Executive Chef of Hotel Bel-Air.

Guests can expect to savour an exceptional dinner with two courses prepared by Chef Puck and Chef Belanos, as well as courses prepared by Chef Piège and Chef Manzke that showcase their individual culinary talents. Following this event, the visiting chefs and Chef Puck will collaborate once again to provide another extraordinary dining occasion at Republique on Thursday, May 10.

This evening will be extra special since part of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization Chefs to End Hunger.

As a true foodie, I wholeheartedly agree with the philosophy of Chef Piège that, “It’s not only about food, it’s more than food, it’s about pleasure.”’

Tickets – $195 per person excluding taxes with optional wine pairing for $95 or ultra-wine pairing for $195. Tickets can be purchased here. For additional information, guests may call
