Spring Concerts in Aix-en-Provence

The 12th edition of Festival de Pâques in Aix en-Provence will feature 24 concerts and host more than 700 invited artists. This prestigious classical music event, born under the helm of violinist Renaud Capuçon and Grand Théâtre de Provence director Dominique Bluzet, has quickly become a major cultural event in Europe. With performances held in five venues, including the Grand Théâtre de Provence and the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume, the Festival de Pâques has established itself as a cornerstone of France’s cultural calendar.

The programme will travel through Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany and several regions of France and will welcome several regions of France and will welcome festivals, composed of young musicians. The event hosts many beloved artists, including pianists Martha Argerich, Bertrand Chamayou, Alexandra Dovgan and Beatrice Rana, mezzosoprano Lea Desandre, and harpsichordist and conductor Christophe Rousset. It will also shine a spotlight on the cello by inviting the 12 cellos of the Berlin Philharmonic and soloists such as Gautier Capuçon, Kian Soltani, Pablo Ferrández and Julia Hagen.
