Hotel Le Mareuil

Hotel Le Mareuil

There’s a reason why this hotel is ranked #33 out of 1,796 hotels in Paris on TripAdvisor.

The Hotel Mareuil is a new four-star hotel situated in the quiet Rue de Malte, a stone’s throw from the bustle of revamped Place de la République and a mere two-minute walk to nearby Oberkampf and République metro stations.

This is a real Parisian experience. The local neighbourhood brims with restaurants and cafés, boutiques and parks, and the Saint Martin canal is just a few minutes away. You’ll see plenty of locals sitting outside the cafés and restaurants in the evening. There’s even a ‘Darty’ (electronic goods store) and a ‘Monop’ (supermarket) conveniently located 200 meteres away on Avenue de la République for all your requirements.

The hotel comprises 35 contemporary rooms styled to create a relaxing ambiance. There is a small gym and steam room which is complimentary for all hotel guests and there is also a dedicated beauty room where you can book a variety of massages and treatments. Equipped with all mod cons, each bedroom comes with luxurious bed linens and the new NightCove system. This is marvellous! When activated the warm colours of the lamp gently fade in and out whilst playing delicate, soothing sounds to help you drift off to a peaceful night’s sleep. (I fell asleep in minutes.)

The Hotel Mareuil is a perfect place in which to unwind after a busy day in Paris. The décor is beautifully minimalist and you’ll notice as soon as you enter the hotel, that guest comfort is paramount.

The fare at the Mareuil is also very admirable – served up are organic, local products for petit déjeuner and snacks. Organic and fair-trade teas and coffees are the norm.

The Mareuil is an oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling city, ideal for those that wish to unwind in serenity at the end of the day but still remain close to all the action in the centre of Paris.
