Autumn in Paris: American Friends of Musée d’Orsay

Each year American Friends of Musée d’Orsay offers a rich program of activities and visits for its members. This yearlong calendar of exclusive activities is capped off by a weekend program and Gala evening each October. This autumn, the Gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay, which includes a private tour, reception, and dinner, will honor entertainment mogul and philanthropist, Jeffrey Katzenberg.

The complete weekend program kicks off on Thursday, October 19, with a cocktail reception to honour and pay tribute to the late Spencer Hays, at a prestigious venue, catered by Triple Michelin-Starred Chef Eric Frechon, of Hotel le Bristol Paris.

Throughout the weekend, AFMO invites you to join them on a walk through time and places to discover private Paris homes, collections, gardens and national treasures. Events include a choice of private tours of Musée de l’Orangerie, Grand Palais, Banque de France, Hotel des Invalides-Musée de l’Armée, as well as other exclusive venues. In addition, members can experience “The Art of Mixology”, with famed Head Bartender Colin Field of the Hemingway Bar, the Ritz Paris, or meet Anne Vitchen, Dame des Fleurs of 15 place Vendome and enter her floral design atelier.

AFMO is dedicated to raising public awareness and financial support for the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie.
