Editor’s App Choice: Fotopedia France
Photo-sharing is hugely popular and so, unsurprisingly, it’s big business. Consequently, the great and good of the multi-media world are always looking at ways to allow users to pass on their work to others. Fotopedia is a photo encyclopedia launched by five former Apple employees which organises images by subject matter. There is an app dedicated to all things French, which is effectively a series of annotated photo essays.
Although the initial usability is a tad confusing, once you get to grips with the navigation you can explore the whole country via slideshows and stories. Google Maps are also integrated, to handy effect. However, even after downloading the app, you will still require an internet connection.
Fotopedia France is available free for iPhone and iPad
