However, cyclists who are keen to explore that iconic range in a more gentle manner will love a fabulous app from Savoie Mont Blanc Tourism.

Free to download, it’s very user-friendly, with a clear menu, itineraries categorised according to difficulty and listings for restaurants, hotels, camp sites and bed & breakfast accommodation, tourist office information and more. There’s also mapping and the genius addition of a stopwatch within the app which will allow timings for the keenest climbers!
