The Canal du Nivernais is reputed to be one of France’s prettiest waterways. The Loire valley provides gentle cruising with very few locks. Both offer spectacular views, hilltop vineyards and charming towns and villages.

The Camargue hosts many fabulous beach resorts, ancient ports, fishing villages and historic towns. It is also a wildlife haven and is one of the few nesting sites for graceful flamingos in all of France.

The Charente is supposedly the ‘loveliest river in France’. The crystal clear waters of the Charente are perfect for swimming in. Pass fields of vibrant sunflowers, ancient Roman sites and cognac distilleries.

As well as the other following French regions:

  • Aquitaine
  • River Lot
  • Brittany
  • Burgundy: Franche-Comté
  • Alsace-Lorraine
