Pixels, a Digital Exhibition at the Grand Palais Immersif in Paris

The Grand Palais Immersif hosts the very first major Parisian exhibition of works by French artist Miguel Chevalier, a pioneer in the field of digital art.

Spread over two floors at the Bastille site, the exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in the artist’s visionary world, where the real and the virtual meet to explore the new frontiers of digital art and artificial intelligence. Each pixel becomes a window onto an ever-changing reality. A major artist on the digital scene since the 1980s, Chevalier continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art with his immersive, generative and interactive installations, which explore current themes such as surveillance, digital identity and the relationship between human and machine. The installations are complemented by never-before-seen video works, 3D-printed sculptures and illuminated works conceived as totems along the way. His recent works, fuelled by advances in AI, question the growing impact of algorithmic systems, the nature of images generated by algorithms and the influence of technology on the way we perceive the world. The visit takes 1h 30m, giving each visitor ample time to interact with the works, which respond to their gestures and movement.

Until April 6
