Brittany is the official name of one of the regions of France, comprising Finistère, Iles-et-Vilaine, Morbihan and Côtes d’Armor. Its regional capital is Rennes. Brittany is known for its art, particularly around the area of Carnac, as well as being a major site for megalithic monuments.
